An Apology to my Readers

Smee again:

When I started this Blog I had big ideas about going viral and all that crap. I wanted to start a protest movement and try to bully the Government into backing off punitively revising the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations.

Fool!

It wasn’t my ego that started me. I know my limits and Leadership and Organizational Skills are among my weaker talents. I was going to recruit those from the fantastic following I was going to develop with this, my Hyde Park Soapbox Blog. Revision of the Marihuana Medical Access Regulations is going to limit and control all growth. This will inevitably escalate the cost for every Licensee of the Program and I selected these victims as my target audience.

Fool!

I didn’t realize at first that trying to recruit a responsive following to protest from a bunch of laid back stoners was about the stupidest thing I ever did. I think anybody who smokes Pot for 41 years as I have, should know that he won’t make any ripples in that pond!

Common sense I Forgot

I have no doubt I could get them to read my plea and decide to help me. The problem now arises from Pot’s effect on the mind.

Any toker knows Pot’s three common effects when smoked and I conclude that:

1. Tokers read it but then short term memory loss and takes over and they lose it.
2. While that is possible: it’s more likely that stimulating reading results in a burst of creative thinking devising brilliant solutions to the problem, but then
3. Loss of Motivation sets in and they can’t get their arses off the couch and leave the brownies alone.

It has been 9 months since I started the blog. I set out to save personal growth and that has become impossible given the current state of affairs. I have no place left to go except to rant about what I see as being wrong and completely out of character with Canadian values and Principles in the way this Harper Crowd has conducted itself. I have problems in deciding where this blog should go and at this point I’m asking you guys for advice. Give me your input to help me decide what to do in the coming year. When you hit the end of a post or page let me and others know what you think. Sign it as Anonymous but let us know what you think.

Why would I want your input and feedback?

Because there has been none. Out of the thousands of views and visitors that this blog has received, there have been virtually no Comments: A total of 17.  

These have all been complimentary but a one liner doesn’t give me my readers’ assessment of the worth or weakness of the arguments I spout, nor does it expose other readers to the criticism and thinking of others. As a result

The problem is that I have no idea:

1. Who you are,
2. What you think about anything or
3. What you would like me to rant about or look into further.

If I look at myself:

1. I was born a Pedant and I make no apologies for that.
2. I can Read 1200 words per minute; I make no apologies for that.
3. I was born with a Sense of Smell that rivals a Bloodhound
4. I am Blessed with a Genetic Linkage between my vision and my nose.

At times it is a nuisance but it has given me the ability to read just about anything that this Government has done and smell horseshit or the odour of death and decay. That tells me something is wrong and then Pedantry turns me into a rat terrier digging some prey out of a hole. That ability and this Blog now have a serious problem because when I look at all the lies Harper and the Cabinet have spouted in just the last year the stench is unbearable and too much for me to handle. Too much is wrong and there’s too much to bitch about:

Fairness: Process, Impartiality, Equity
Caring and Citizenship.

Within just that framework of 20+ expected performance areas, the Harper Government has such a list of violations and failures that it is beyond anyone’s ability to keep track of, much less take the time to comment on the violations as they occur.

At the present time I am most concerned with the violation of Medical Confidentiality and the Dr. Rob. Kamermans Persecution. I have been trying to find out just how an invasion of Privacy of that magnitude and the targeting of an MD (for damnation and ruination as a sacrificial Lamb) can be justified. I don’t think it can: but no-one will tell me the Chapter and Verse of Canadian Law they are using to Sanction their Criminal Behaviour.

Once more I’m running over the length limit for posts so I will conclude this post with the request that you take just a minute and give me your advice. Punch into Comments and let rip. I appreciate all the input I can get. I will continue explanation of what I am faced with ahead in future posts but for now I’ve run out of steam.

A Conservative Rectum That LEAKS!!

Don’t be surprised if most of this post is Plagiarism ripped off Wickipedia. They will give you the same data but they don’t put it in perspective: They deal in facts but in a jumbled up chronological manner and give no analysis. Simply by presenting those facts in proper chronological order and inserting a few comments here and there I leave it to you to figure out what is theirs and what is mine. You might conclude I don’t have much use for moral and ethical pigs like him and you’re smack bang on. Enjoy my assessment of the man and his performance.

Robbie boy began his political career in 1994 when he worked for the Republican Party on the senate campaign of Jim Inhofe in Oklahoma as a professional heckler. His mouth earned him the label of "a foreign political saboteur" from CNN. This gave him a firm foundation in Tea Party thinking.

Before being elected in Alberta he served as the Director of Canadians Against Forced Unionism, an organization related to the National Citizens Coalition. that gave him a firm foundation as a Fundamentalist Libertarian: You know those idiots with their “God Save Business, Damn the Poor” Philosophy.

He started his slimy clime to power in the 1997 Canadian federal election when he was elected in Calgary West, the Reform Party riding just vacated by Stephen Harper. It’s not surprising: Stephen was a fellow member in the National Citizens Coalition and apparently shares the same warped beliefs Robbie holds dear. Recently Prime Minister Stephen Harper indicated his support of Anders, stating that "Rob is a true reformer and a true conservative. He has been a faithful supporter of mine and I am grateful for his work.” Robbie was only able to conceal his bigotry and control his mouth for 4 years until he was the sole parliamentarian to vote against making Nelson Mandela an honorary citizen of Canada in 2001.

Stephen must have really chewed his ass out then because he successfully controlled his skill in the production of verbal sewage for 10 whole years. Finally the production of venom in his teeny-weeny brain was just too much and in 2010 the dam burst and Robbie advised Canadian Troops that they should follow his personal philosophy "When in doubt, pull the trigger". Robbie doesn’t need a gun; he just shoots off his mouth.

In February 2010, nineteen Board members of Anders' Calgary West riding association resigned en masse, citing interference from the Conservative Party. Nobody wanted him with his warped views as spokesman for them The 32 member board had been planning to ask Conservative Party members at the riding's upcoming annual general meeting whether they wanted to hold a nomination contest.. The party's national council intervened, saying it had already declared Anders as the candidate for the next federal election, and threatened to take control of the annual general meeting of the constituency association. The resignations brought the total number of board members who had resigned over the course of one year to twenty-four.

Until this year Anders was member of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Veterans Affairs. He was removed from that position, based on his tendency to fall asleep during meetings. In March 2012, he was removed from the Veterans Affairs Committee following controversial comments in response to arriving late, texting, and falling asleep at a committee meeting (including calling his accusers NDP hacks who praise Vladimir Putin). Robbie has now been reassigned to the House-Senate Standing Joint Committee on Scrutiny of Regulations. I conclude that Mr. Harper is a follower of the Peter Principal and has applied the Lateral Arabesque. He’s promoted Rob to a position with a big title, on an invisible Committee with no responsibility and hopes he’s going to disappear! No such luck, Stevie. The assholes still in the Party and worse he’s still in Parliament.

In July 2012, Anders opposed his own party and criticized Treasury Board President Tony Clement for funding a vistors' centre honouring to Norman Bethune a fan of the biggest killer in human history. He missed the point. Bethune was a doctor. Political prejudice and judgement are not part of relieving human pain suffering and the Hippocratic Oath says nothing abut being politically correct before you assist a patient. It’s just more of Anders “God Save Business, Damn the Poor” Philosophy.

As a reminder of just who runs the OLD Boys Club, remember:

Prime Minister Stephen Harper has indicated his support of Anders, stating that "Rob is a true reformer and a true conservative. He has been a faithful supporter of mine and I am grateful for his work.``

That was prior to Rob’s latest stupidities. In the past three months he has gone far beyond the limits of free speech that Parliamentarians should observe. He has unjustifiably interfered in Alberta’s 22012 Election so badly that Ron Liepert, Alberta's Minister of Energy, accused Anders of campaigning against him.

In September fellow Conservative Party members disassociated themselves from Anders' character assassination of the New Democratic Party leader. He’s got the balls to use the Commons, (where he responsible for nothing he says and immune from any real consequences or prosecution) to slander Thomas Mulcair  and state he "Hastened the death" of former NDP leader Jack Layton. I hope he committed a fatal error when he presented himself as a blatant homophobe this month.

He called Bill C279, a private member's bill that would amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and hate crime section of the Criminal Code to include "gender identity" and "gender expression" as grounds for discrimination, a "bathroom bill"  He’s a self proclaimed Homophobe and Hate Monger. He thinks Gay bashing isn’t a hate crime, he thinks it’s justified punishment for a pervert.

I don’t understand why Harper puts up with this asshole but then I look at this Conservative Caucus and he obviously needs the 87 Conservative Supporters who voted for Vote #466. That is the block of ideologues that still fanatically support the Right to Life and Anti-Abortion movements and are corrupting the Conservative Party. In reality that is the majority of his majority.

Harpo has to kiss their ass to keep power.

I have no idea what Mr. Anders future will be

but

I would reward any gay who is successful in uprooting and bashing the Bastard.

I would readily spring a couple of hundred bucks for a real Canadian hero.

Technique Counts

I’m quite prepared to Double that for either:

1. a SPSKB (Severely Painful Successful Kick in the Balls) or
2. a Lengthy Hospitalization will qualify.

The Conservative Response to my Tongue Lashing

A Primer- How to Artfully Dodge a Constituent Plea for Help

My last post was sent to every MP by e-mail. The response was about as expected: one from the Libs that was OK and one from the NDP and that was OK?

The truth from a Liberal is expected and I got it:

As a courtesy, I will let you know that of the 1000’s of emails we get, correspondence from constituents always takes priority. Our policy is to respond to people when they’ve identified themselves with names and addresses.

Out of the whole batch of Conservative MP’s I got 2 responses – simply Form Letter acknowledgements

1. Thank you very much for contacting the office of Joe Preston, Member of Parliament for Elgin-Middlesex-London. Mr. Preston welcomes hearing from Canadians and being made aware of their views and all comments are brought to his attention.
2. Thank you for taking the time to e-mail MP Barry Devolin.  Barry always appreciates receiving correspondence from his constituents and other concerned citizens.  I assure you that either Barry or a member of his staff will review your comments as soon as possible...

It only seems appropriate that I point out that while everybody in the Conservative Party seems to appreciate and welcome comments they don’t pay much attention. Even a direct cry for help from a Constituent is evaded with lame excuses. Following is a prime example of one Conservative Member of Parliaments dodge to evade any involvement in any distasteful or confrontational situation like asking about the blatant violation of privacy and Law with the Seizure of a Constituent’s Confidential Medical Records.

Fortunately one of the new responses was from the Office of Barry Devolin. This self styled defender of constituents has already demonstrated his skill at dodging anything controversial. Justifying and defending the intentional violation of a constituents Privacy and seizure of her Medical Records (by Justice, Health, and asshole Vic Toews) is completely out of the question because the Police are now involved. 

Horseshit!

(Barry-Boy probably thought up the whole damn scheme!)

So far no response from the commissioner on how the investigation into the unjust, unwarranted removal of client files from my doctor's office is going.
BUT my MP's response is as follows...
 Dear Ms,
 Thank you for contacting Barry to express your concern.
As Member of Parliament, it is inappropriate for Barry to intervene in files within the care & control of a police agency.
As you have outlined in your letter, if you feel your rights have been violated, you should consider contacting the Ontario Civilian Police Commission.  They are in a better position to assist you.

My response to this letter:
Dear Marnie Hoppenrath,
Thank you for your speedy response. Since it is deemed inappropriate for Barry to intervene in files within the care & control of a police agency, could you please advice me what type of help Barry does consider appropriate when one calls on him for help or guidance.  A great number of people have had their privacy violated and the confidentiality we all expect when going to a doctor has been broken. Barry is part of the system that governs the doctors and police who then impact each and everyone of us including but not limited to me, as they see fit, regardless of how we/I feel about their inappropriate and fraudulent actions against us/me. What about our basic human rights other than having the police investigate themselves, what about having one of your many other agencies looking into this injustice? Please let me know what else i can do other than contacting the Ontario Civilian Police Commission. It seriously seems oxymoronic to have the police investigate themselves. 

This little rocket will also be sent to all MP’s.
